Sheffield History and iconic places to film

I thought it was time to start thinking about what i need to do, after all i can safely say i'm not short on ramblings, i mean research. Right here is what i'm thinking of doing.

I am drawn strongly towards doing the projection for the "Twilight Finale" which is meant to revolves around the history of Sheffield, i have some idea on what i would like to do. However i know i am doing motion graphics but i feel a hand drawn style animation wouldn't really fit in at this type of event. One idea was having a then and now flashback kind of thing, things like that have always interested me.

My idea is to find many pics of old iconic areas of Sheffield or maybe not so iconic and do a transition to my pictures taken in the same area.

Iconic areas of Sheffield, with living in Sheffield i know where to look in Sheffield for places of interest, which is lucky.

That's all i can think of right about now, I'm going to be cheeky and talk to my granddad, i'm sure he knows some sneaky places that exist or used to that are unique to Sheffield.
